Danny Waxman is a disciple of Dr. Hatsumi Sensei, the 34 Soke (headmaster) of the Bujinkan Dojo. He met Dr. Hatsumi and his great Japanese disciples in 1966. Together with Doron Navon, they were the first two non-Japanese disciples of Dr. Hatsumi Sensei, training with Dr. Hatsumi in the old Garage, in the fields and shrines yards.

Dr. Hatsumi granted Danny with 15Dan degree and a shian title for his devotion and achievements in the art of Bujinkan Ninjutsu. Danny Waxman is also a 6Dan Judo, from the Kodokan Judo institute in Tokyo and a former Makabiya champion, and Israel Open weight Judo Champion. He is also a Zen Master.

Sensei Danny Waxman was born in 1936 in Kibbutz Beit-Alfa. In his youth he met and studied with Dr. Moshe Feldenkriz, who motivated him to study judo in Japan. After finishing his regular duties of serving in the IDF in 1958, he went straight to Japan. All together, Sensei Danny Waxman lived and trained in Japan for more then 13 years focusing on training in Ninjutsu, Judo and Zen. He was lucky to meet and closely train with many Judo giants, such Prof. Kotani Sensei 10Dan, Prof. Daigo Sensei, 10Dan, and Prof. Osawa Sensei 10Dan, Don Draeger and other great judo teachers and champions and became their disciple and long time friend. While training with Dr. Hatsumi sensei, he was training and was accepted (along side with Doron Navon), as one of the close inner group of Dr. Hatumi Japanese disciples, such as Seino Sensei, Oguri Sensei and Ishizuka Sensei.

Danny Waxman has 3 children; he lives and works in the rural north part of Israel, and like to be in the open air of fields forests and hills, cultivate the fields and especially olive trees. He is teaching Bujinkan Ninjutsu and Let-Go Judo for more than twenty years and is leading very interesting seminars from time to time.
